Seeking an application to aid in monitoring repair orders and logging your hours marked for the pay period? Meet TechTime, an app tailored for flat rate automotive technicians. Its purpose is to assist in ensuring that your reported hours align with those on payroll, offering a clearer overview of your current pay period status.

Similar to a checks and balances system, keeping a separate list from the payroll records guarantees that the hours you've worked are accurately reflected in your paycheck. Any discrepancies can be easily noted within TechTime.

Users can effortlessly calculate various labor types and commission-based pay per repair order. Adding a new repair order is a swift process. Simply select "Add Repair Order" and input key information such as RO#, Writer, Labor Type Performed, and Flagged Hours for record-keeping purposes. Utilize the Tech Notes feature to include specific details or reminders related to each vehicle.

Email Payroll feature enables you to communicate any variance in your list compared to theirs or submit a comprehensive list of logged repair orders for the current pay period.

Getting started with TechTime is straightforward:

<li>Enter the start and end dates of your pay period</li>
<li>Set your labor rates (What you earn per flagged hour)</li>
<li>Add a repair order, and TechTime will handle the earnings calculation for you</li>
</ul>

Available labor types include Body, Mechanical, Internal, Warranty, Refinish, Glass, Frame, and Aluminum. If a specific labor type is missing, easily incorporate custom labor types as needed.

The Archive feature allows you to store past pay periods and repair orders for future reference if any discrepancies arise.

Identify errors efficiently by color coding each repair order – grey for default display, green for correct entries, and red for incorrect entries. This method aids in promptly recognizing adjustments that may be required.

A subscription model is available via In-App Purchase:

Your subscription will be charged upon purchase confirmation and will auto-renew unless turned off 24 hours before the period ends. While active subscriptions cannot be canceled, you can manage them or disable auto-renewal via your App Store Account Settings.
